Live Workshop Dates April

Sketch Noting - Tuesday 15th April online
In November, I met Rachel Burnham who is a sketch noter, she teaches people to sketch note for their notes in meetings, organise their thoughts, prepare for interviews, as reflection / reflective practice or relaxation.Â
Not all learning is in the classroom, so this is a different way of engaging your mind in a learning activity. I can’t draw and she says this wont stop me.
Rachel will cover:
- Identifying how you can make use of Sketchnoting to help you in your day to day work;
- Have confidence to have a go at drawing simple pictures and graphics; and
- Get started when creating a Sketchnote with practical tips.
You don’t need to be an artist or good at drawing to make use of Sketchnoting – you just need to be willing to have a go!

Introduction to Working with Young Adults
Adult Learning Wales Youth Team and New Colleagues Mentors / Training team are running a 3.5 hour introduction to working with Young People, it is training for our prison officers, and we know the information is really useful and transferable, so we welcome anyone who wishes to attend from the Probation Teams.
Sessions are being held in April and May @HMP Berwyn Training Building 8.30-12.00
If you would like to attend a session, please let me know liz.parsons@poauk.org.uk
